After the school was closed, there is the organisations such as Hartley community Hall Inc committee who looked after the locally owned property until it was sold in 1995, then the proceeds were administered by the Hartley Community Inc. This Committee have supported their Sec/Tr and author of the book - Marian Harvey. The book is a project of the above organisation. The book is a heavy A4 size, large print on 314 pages. Contains more coloured photos than black and white. There is over 400 images. Full list of students enrolments and maps of where they lived in Section numbers. A small school with a lot of interesting stories and surrounding events. Worth a read and a chuckle.
