More DescriptionA middle-class African American young man in his mid to late twenties, has fallen on hard times. He has recently lost his job and his home and he has been reduced to sleeping in his vehicle. Late one rainy night while parked in a mall parking lot, attempting to sleep in his backseat, he and another man, a Gypsy, come upon a bank bag lost in the parking lot containing over nine hundred and twenty thousand dollars at precisely the same instant. The armored truck that had lost the money is returning with the police; they can hear the sirens moving closer and closer. The two make a pact. The Gypsy will act as a decoy while the young man escapes with their money. The young man is given instructions on how to proceed to get the Gypsy released from jail when he, the Gypsy, is caught by the police; once he is released they can split the contents of the bag. He explains to the young man that if he does not follow the terms of their agreement, he, the Gypsy, has the power to put a curse on him. The young man tries, but through no fault of his own, he cannot do as the Gypsy had outlined. He is cursed. From that point forward, everything he tries to do he is extremely successful. He becomes massively wealthy, but everything he truly loves, his family, turns out very very badly.
