More DescriptionInstructor tier: 6GB RAM, 1 CPU, 15GB Disk, 2 hour idle timeout, member hosting, network access, 1 project. (4 month access). CoCalc is a collaborative software platform that enables continued access to open source tools for science, engineering, and mathematics. Along with computational resource flexibility, CoCalc was designed to avoid the hassles associated with software installation and library maintenance. Using either a Jupyter Notebook interface or Linux Terminal, you can write and run code with students or colleagues in real time using your favorite programming languages: R, C++, Javascript, Julia, Python, Octave, Bash, Sage, etc. or even use custom kernels. Collaboratively editing documents or course materials (whether using LaTeX, Markdown, or Rich Text) has never been easier. Using CoCalc's LaTeX editor you can run Python or Sage code along with the added benefit of real time synchronization. CoCalc has an optional integrated course management system for assigning, distributing and collecting coursework. Moreover, it supports automatic grading (and feedback) via nbgrader to save you time. Our newest feature, Computational Whiteboard, allows users to run Jupyter Cells in a variety of languages within a fully featured whiteboard environment while creating post-it notes, writing using LaTeX/Markdown or Rich Text, or using a pen/tablet.
