A former professional journalist, Rod Lott has reviewed movies for publications for more than 30 years, including as managing editor of the alt-weekly Oklahoma Gazette, where his film criticism and features were named the state's best for four years by the Society of Professional Journalists. For 13 years and 37 issues, he published the popular zine Hitch: The Journal of Pop Culture Absurdity, sold worldwide. His work has appeared in Psychotronic Video, Film International, Something Weird Video releases and several books. He lives in Oklahoma City on purpose.
