More DescriptionICD-10 / CPT 2014 Glaucoma Ophthalmology Coding Reference Card V200 is the only glaucoma-specific coding resource written by a nationally recognized board-certified practicing ophthalmologist who is also both an Ophthalmic Coding Specialist (OCS) and a Certified Ophthalmic Executive (COE).
Formatted for quick and easy usage, this reliable highly-organized 8.5 X 11 resource includes up-to-date, commonly-utilized ICD-10 glaucoma and general ophthalmology diagnosis codes. It is organized alphabetically in three sections (Glaucoma; General; and Cataracts) to help you rapidly select the correct ICD-10 diagnosis code. Where applicable, coding supports laterality (right, left, bilateral); eyelid (right upper, right lower, left upper, left lower); glaucoma severity codes (unspecified, mild, moderate, severe, indeterminate); diabetic severity codes (Type 1 and Type 2 with or without retinal edema; none, mild, moderate, severe, proliferative); S and T injury codes (including the appropriate ADS 7th character); and ophthalmic-relevant codes from Sections B (infectious), D (neoplasms), E (endocrine), G (CNS), R (symptoms) and Z. A CPT section allows coding of common Consultation, E&M, Eye, Inpatient, ER visit codes as well as Special Ophthalmological Testing, Laser Surgery, Minor Surgery, and Major Surgery procedure codes (emphasizing glaucoma). A helpful Modifier section with very brief explanations is also included. All areas emphasize glaucoma.
This inexpensive, portable resource will allow you to hit the ground running and code glaucoma efficiently and accurately, reducing your need for bulky coding books or constantly looking up online resources. Best of all: there is no need for constantly flipping over. It all conveniently fits on only one page!
Laminated to resist tearing and spills, this product is available for your immediate and daily coding needs.
