Jamaican English and Patois Mix

This book of Jamaican Poetry was inspired by late Louis Bennett's "Ring Ding Show" which was rich in the Jamaican Dialect. I went on her show once and watched it during my childhood while living in Jamaica. My book has elements of Jamaican jokes, fun, culture and heritage expressed in the words of this book. This book of Jamaican Poetry was inspired by late Louis Bennett's "Ring Ding Show" which was rich in the Jamaican Dialect. I went on her show once and watched it during my childhood while living in Jamaica. My book has elements of Jamaican jokes, fun, culture and heritage expressed in the words of this book. Many of these poems have been done on stage and have won local prizes within Victoria Mutual Building Society to which I was employed. This book speak of duppy story, quarrels, problems, anxiety, childhood issues, parental issues, christmas functions, love, life and death. Reading this book gives you an insight of what the Jamaican Language is like and includes a Glossary to help you to understand the words used in the Jamaican Creale/Patois.
