     After fantasizing for months about becoming a mother, Rae learns she can never have children.  She is devastated. 

     Desperate to accomplish one dream of her own, she returns to where her life changed direction.  At school in Tennessee Rae embarks on a path of self-discovery that reveals more than she could ever have imagined. 

     She soon discovers that her most valuable lessons will be learned outside the classroom.  Further, the price for Rae's education will be much higher than the cost of tuition.
