Chapter 3 of the Red Star Rising Campaign, The Coldest of Blood, continues the tale begun in the first two chapters of the campaign. The Hanataz troupe is finally prepared to embark upon the long journey to the next town, but such travels are never without hazards. Driven by the looming threat of a winter storm, the players lead the vanguard of the troupe to clear the road of trouble, and delve into dangerous ruins at the behest of their elders. As the blizzard closes in, the troupe is forced to make camp, and they are given the seemingly simple task of procuring supplies to help endure the storm. However the players will face unexpected delays, and the next morning's light will reveal the previous night to have been the most momentous of their young lives?
