More DescriptionThis collection of poems depicts the journey of the author through the phases of her life, her understanding and acceptance of the deeper meaning of life. Through broader topics of Love, Life and Light, the author portrays the insights and wisdom she received at each stage.
The poems will appeal to young and older audiences alike as the experiences of love, loss, grief, hopelessness and of finally discovering the way to tranquillity, are common to everyone, across cultures and geographies. The language is simple and comes from a place of deep emotion that we all are familiar with. Whether it is bringing in the play of creation and the creator, or human nature that shapes the experiences, the author has illustrated with vivid imagery the raw emotions and experiences that have strengthened her.
The author draws her inspiration from nature her devotion to the creator and various aspects of the human body to express herself. The title conforms to the idea that the heart defies the logic and fear set by the mind and finds strength to live life on its own terms. The author beckons you to relax, keep aside the masks we are forced to adorn to survive in this world and enjoy emotions in all their glory.
