McDonell, Nick (Author)
Nick McDonell is the son of self-made man, Terry McDonell (the editor of Sports Illustrated and former managing editor of Rolling Stone). His mother, Joan McDonell is a novelist and screenwriter. He was born on February 18, 1984. Nick wrote his first novel, Twelve, when he was 17 years old. His second novel, The Third Brother, was released in 2005.

McDonell is a graduate of Harvard University.
